Six Northern Kentucky high schools are among the best in the state

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Dr. Roslyn Fraser, associate professor of sociology in Stephen F. Austin State University’s Department of Anthropology, Geography and Sociology, has been named Fulbright Scholar for the 2024-25 academic year.The Fulbright Program, the United States government’s flagship program for international educational and cultural exchange, selects university faculty members and professionals to conduct research, teach and produce artistic and professional projects in other countries in an effort to find solutions to challenges facing our world.

Several NJ public high schools rank among the best in the country, US News said, and 2 of those are in Hudson County.

Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.

It’s not easy to average close to 1600 on the SAT as an entire high school, but a couple spots in New Jersey did just that in 2023.

Cincinnati boasts the best high school in Ohio, according to U.S. News and World Report’s recent ranking of the nation’s top high schools.

“We are immensely proud of these schools’ accomplishments,” said Jeff Cottrill, Ed.D., CEO and Superintendent of IDEA Public Schools.

Rankings include magnet, charter and STEM-focused schools.
