2 High Schools In Jersey City Make Top 25 In New Jersey: U.S. News

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Where does your local high school rank? Recently, U.S. News & World Report ranked the best public high schools in New Jersey and the best in the country, releasing the results on Tuesday.

Among the top high schools in New Jersey, two from Hudson County made the grade.

As far as the top 100 nationwide, Dr. Ronald E McNair High School, a Jersey City magnet school, came in at No. 83.

Another Jersey City high school made the top 25 in New Jersey, even if it didn’t quite make the top 100 nationallly.

Infinity Institute in Jersey City was in the top 25.

U.S. News looked at math, reading, and science assessments, as well strong performance among under-served students, graduation rates, and college readiness,
