**Upcoming Deadlines for 2024-25 Fulbright College Scholarship Applications on Feb. 1 and 15**

The University of Arkansas is currently open for accepting scholarship applications for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year, with impending final submission deadlines set for today and Feb. 15. Detailed information regarding scholarship applications and descriptions can be accessed on the university’s website.

Within the university, the application process is overseen for various general college scholarships, along with the prestigious J.W. and Elizabeth W. Fulbright Endowed Scholarship for Study Abroad.

Kathryn Sloan, serving as the interim dean of Fulbright College, expressed enthusiasm about the diverse opportunities available for both need-based and merit-based financial aid. Sloan emphasized the importance of students exploring the funding options that align best with their individual needs and interests.

Prospective candidates seeking general college scholarships are required to complete the online application process through the university’s designated portal.

The deadline for submission is set for 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, after which the online application portal will be inaccessible. Subsequent to matching applicants with the scholarships they qualify for, the evaluation process will commence.

For the J.W. and Elizabeth W. Fulbright Endowed Scholarship for Study Abroad, online applications are also accepted, with the deadline for submission being 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Additionally, a range of scholarships provided by individual academic departments, programs, and centers, including the Fulbright Honors Program, can be explored through the links available on the college’s official website.

Successful candidates chosen for the J.W. and Elizabeth W. Fulbright Endowed Scholarship for Study Abroad will receive notifications in March. As for recipients of the general college scholarships, notifications will be disseminated during the fall semester of 2024.
