### Apply Now for the John Smartt Summer Scholars Program

The virtual internship program at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education is currently open for applications. This program offers master’s students the chance to participate in professional experiences, connect with experts in higher education, and acquire vital research skills focusing on equity and leadership in higher education. The internship, which revolves around the activities of the Center for Minority Serving Institutions, provides financial compensation and equips interns with practical research skills beneficial for their future careers.

The John Smartt Summer Scholars Program for this year will take place online from June 4 to July 11, 2024.

If you wish to apply, please submit your application by March 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Successful applicants will receive notification via email in March 2024.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrollment in a master’s program in any field
  • Interest in conducting research related to Minority Serving Institutions
  • Availability to commit 19.5 hours per week throughout the program
