### Top 5 Schools Include WVU Football in 2025 3-Star Offensive Lineman’s Choices

The WVU football program is edging closer to securing another offensive line recruit from a familiar school. Eidan Buchanan (6-foot-8, 325 pounds), a three-star prospect for 2025, was in the spotlight on Tuesday.

This development follows shortly after the emergence of Buchanan, a product of Good Counsel High School in Only, Md. Buchanan is currently weighing his options among Maryland, Kentucky, Rutgers, and Wisconsin, having prioritized these schools over JMU, Pitt, and Syracuse.

Regarded as an offensive tackle by recruiting agencies, Buchanan boasts a three-star rating across Rivals, 247 Sports, and On3.com. Among these, 247 Sports positions him as the 23rd top prospect in Maryland.

WVU is actively pursuing both Buchanan and his high school teammate Gavin Crawford, aiming to solidify their recruitment efforts.

In addition to Good Counsel’s reputable football program, it serves as the alma mater of one of West Virginia’s prominent 2024 signees. This connection has paved the way for a potential recruiting pipeline to Good Counsel, particularly for promising offensive line prospects.

Furthermore, Crawford has already made significant strides in his athletic career.
