WASHINGTON – The Howard University School of Education is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural degree completion program for a Bachelor of Science in Human Development.
The newly introduced 100% online program offers flexibility and the advantages of distance learning for prospective students who have successfully completed 60 to 72 approved credit hours from an accredited college or university, maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.2, and have not acquired college or university credits for at least one year. The classes are scheduled to commence in fall 2024.
Students majoring in human development will explore interdisciplinary methodologies for studying and advocating human development across various life stages from conception through to aging and death. The faculty members are dedicated to ensuring that students develop cultural responsiveness to social justice matters by instructing them on empowering individuals and communities in diverse and marginalized environments.

The applications for this program will be open from Monday, March 18, until Thursday, May 30. For students seeking scholarship opportunities, the application deadline is set for Wednesday, May 1. Howard University will conduct virtual information sessions regarding the program on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout April.
