Students study abroad in Antarctica

Professor Lynn Resler of the Department of Geography led a study abroad course to Antarctica. Virginia Tech students visited the remote continent while learning about the history of exploration to Antarctica, current conservation efforts to protect the terrestrial and marine ecosystems, and the geographic and interdisciplinary dimensions of the polar region.
