In Philadelphia, the William & Mary women’s gymnastics team achieved the second-place position at a quad meet hosted by Temple on Sunday afternoon, showcasing their skills with the sixth-best score in school history, marking the highest total for the season.
Temple secured the team title with a score of 196.225, surpassing W&M’s 194.925, as well as LIU (194.700) and West Chester (193.800).
Impressively, the Tribe set season highs in three out of four events, excelling in bars (48.875), beam (48.725), and floor (48.850). Notably, the beam score is now tied for seventh in program history, while the bars performance ranks 10th.
Among the standout individual performances, Sarah Wozniak shone by tying for first place on bars with a score of 9.850, matching her career high. Grace Costello also delivered a strong performance, tying for third on beam with a career-best score of 9.825.
On the vault, Sarah Kuper and Hannah Burke led the Tribe with scores of 9.750 each, equalling their career highs. Michelle Ngo stood out on the floor exercise with a top score of 9.825.
