WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester East remains among the top schools in the state, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report.
The school ranked 32nd overall in Pennsylvania and 1,050th in the nation in the latest rankings.
Henderson placed 44th in the state and Rustin was 53rd.
Downingtown STEM led all of Chester County with a second place overall finish.
Philadelphia’s Julia R. Masterman Secondary School led Pennsylvania, while Arizona’s Basis Peoria school was first in the nation.
The top high schools have students who score exceptionally high on math, reading and science assessments, as well strong performance among under-served students. High school graduation rates and college readiness among graduates are also measured.
