Professor S. Joel Warrican, the Director of the School of Education at the University of the West Indies, emphasized the importance of not adopting the education systems of the United States or Britain without careful consideration. He conveyed this message during the America (US) session of the Eastern Caribbean Joint Board of Teacher Education (JBTE) Meeting, which took place at the Shell Solution Centre on the Cave Hill campus in St. Michael last Wednesday.
