### UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy Maintains Top Spot in Tennessee, Rises to 19th in National Rankings

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center maintains its position as the top pharmacy institution in Tennessee and has achieved the 19th rank among pharmacy schools nationwide.

Ranked by the U.S. News & World Report, the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy has secured the 19th spot among pharmacy schools in the United States, moving up from its previous position of 20th. This recognition, bestowed every four years, underscores the college’s commitment to excellence in pharmacy education, practice, and research.

Dean Reginald Frye, PharmD, PhD, expressed pride in the college’s achievement, stating, “Being recognized as a leading pharmacy school nationally and holding the number one position in Tennessee reflects the unwavering dedication of our faculty, staff, and students to the field of pharmacy.”

Among the 141 institutions offering Doctor of Pharmacy programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, the college’s national ranking at 19 places it in the top 15% nationwide.

With a rich history spanning over 126 years, the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy is renowned for its exceptional pharmacy education. The comprehensive four-year PharmD program integrates fundamental and clinical sciences with social and administrative components, focusing on developing students’ competencies for a successful pharmacy career.
