In Kingston, Rhode Island, the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy has proudly announced its placement among the top pharmacy colleges nationwide.
As per the most recent rankings from U.S. News & World Report, the college’s PharmD program secured the 31st spot out of 141 pharmacy colleges in the United States. The program has demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory in the rankings. In 2016, it held the 46th position, which improved to 40 by 2020.
These rankings by U.S. News & World Report were determined based on peer assessment surveys completed by deans, administrators, or faculty members at accredited degree schools. The respondents evaluated the academic quality of programs using a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5, with 5 indicating exceptional performance.
