Lisovyi elaborates, “Academic mobility programs serve as a refreshing experience for both students and universities. They offer students the chance to venture abroad temporarily for educational pursuits or internships, facilitating the acquisition of fresh knowledge and skills. Simultaneously, for universities, these programs present an avenue to fortify collaborations with international academic institutions.”

According to the announcement, this governmental approval is applicable solely to students within the age bracket of 18 to 22 pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree (or a master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine).

To embark on cross-border educational journeys through academic mobility programs, individuals must possess the following documentation:

  • a digital student ID;
  • a letter of recommendation from their educational institution;
  • an authenticated copy of the agreement with a foreign university regarding admission to the academic mobility initiative;
  • a certificate from a military recruitment office.

It is important to note that the Ministry of Education and Science will not issue any specialized permits for this purpose.

Furthermore, Oksen Lisovyi emphasized that male students are granted the opportunity to engage in academic mobility programs for a single semester.
