**Nation’s Top Online Graduate Programs Offered by UD**

Six of the University of Delaware’s online graduate programs have been recognized among the top in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

The online master’s in education programs at UD secured the 19th spot out of 303 programs, showcasing a positive trend in rankings since 2019.

UD’s online MBA programs climbed four positions to claim the 29th rank out of 345 programs, surpassing other business schools in the Philadelphia region. Additionally, UD’s online master’s in business programs (excluding MBA) achieved a ranking of 85th out of 213 programs.

In a recent evaluation, UD’s online master’s in information technology programs were positioned at No. 50 out of 92 programs. Furthermore, the online master’s in engineering programs and the online master’s in nursing programs were ranked at No. 65 and No. 133, respectively.

Louis Rossi, the dean of UD’s Graduate College and vice provost for graduate and professional education, expressed excitement about the national recognition, emphasizing the value of a graduate degree and the dedication of the faculty to provide exceptional online programs.

The assessment criteria for these rankings encompass various aspects such as engagement, faculty expertise, peer assessment, services and technologies, and student achievements.

George Irvine, UD’s associate provost for online learning and innovation, highlighted the faculty’s expertise, engaging course designs, and the positive outcomes for students that led to the impressive rankings.

In the field of Education and Human Development, UD’s online master’s in education programs were ranked 19th, offering specializations in literacy, teacher leadership, and educational technology. The programs are designed by renowned full-time faculty to cater to the needs of aspiring educational professionals and certified teachers in a flexible format.

Moving on to the MBA and Business programs, UD’s online MBA program secured the 29th spot, while the online master’s in business programs were ranked 85th. The Lerner College offers a comprehensive curriculum with various concentrations and emphasizes career coaching for students.

The Engineering and Information Technology programs at UD were recognized for their excellence, with the online master’s in information technology programs ranked 50th and the online master’s in engineering programs ranked 65th. The cybersecurity, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering programs provide online students with the same quality education as on-campus students.

The online master’s in nursing program at UD was ranked 133rd, preparing nurses for advanced practice roles in healthcare systems. The program focuses on clinical care, care transitions, evidence-based practice, and offers online courses with clinical rotations in students’ respective states.
