### UNI Ranked Among the Top Graduate Schools by U.S. News & World Report

CEDAR FALLS — The University of Northern Iowa has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings, as per an official announcement.

The Best Graduate Schools rankings cater to individuals aspiring to pursue advanced studies post their undergraduate education, assessing programs across various fields such as business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing.

UNI offers a diverse array of graduate education programs, including face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid degrees.

Steph Huffman, the associate vice president for strategic initiatives and dean of the College of Graduate, Research, and Online Education, expressed satisfaction at UNI’s acknowledgment as a national frontrunner in graduate education. Huffman emphasized the ranking as a testament to UNI’s dedication to delivering high-quality and impactful graduate educational opportunities.

U.S. News conducts an annual collection of graduate school data to provide up-to-date insights on enrollment, job placement, faculty quality, and other essential indicators to aid prospective students in making well-informed decisions.

UNI’s College of Education features 10 master’s programs and a doctoral program highlighted in the rankings. These programs encompass a wide range, from elementary and early childhood education to offerings preparing individuals for roles as school administrators, school psychologists, and teacher librarians.

Additionally, UNI stands out nationally for its part-time MBA program within the Wilson College of Business.

The speech-language pathology M.A. program at UNI secured a spot among the top 100 speech pathology programs in the rankings. Students benefit from hands-on clinical experience at the Roy Eblen Speech and Hearing Clinic conveniently located on campus.

Furthermore, UNI’s Master of Public Policy Program has been acknowledged as one of the Best Public Affairs Programs by U.S. News & World Report. The program’s fully online format makes it particularly suitable for professionals seeking career progression within public service and nonprofit organizations focusing on public policy.
