### Scholarship Opportunity for Elite Emirati Graduates: Apply Now for Dh1.1bn Fund

Applications are now available for a new program that will award 100 scholarships annually to the top-performing Emirati high school graduates.

Launched this year by the Crown Prince of Dubai, this initiative aims to empower the upcoming generation of local talent.

With a total value of Dh1.1 billion ($299.5 million), the program also seeks to [ppp1].

This marks the inaugural year of the program, as announced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai’s private education regulator, on Monday.

Part of a series of projects scheduled for 2024 under the [ppp2], this scholarship is designed for exceptional Emirati students who have completed their education in public and private schools within the UAE. It will cover tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs.

Aisha Miran, the director-general of KHDA, expressed, “The scholarships offer a platform for our exceptional students to enroll in leading universities, graduate as prospective leaders, and contribute to enhancing Dubai’s global standing, making it a premier city for living and working.”

She further encouraged young Emiratis to pursue their aspirations of contributing to the nation’s progress and urged them to seize this esteemed scholarship opportunity.

Application Deadline: April 30

Interested candidates can submit their applications for the 2024-25 academic year until April 30.

Eligibility for the scholarship extends to Emiratis who completed high school during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years. Applicants must possess a family book from Dubai and should not have accepted any other scholarship offers.

Qualified individuals can apply through the Emirati section on the Dubai Now app.
