Georgia football is contending for one of the top running back prospects in the 2025 class, as four-star tailback from Quitman High School (Mississippi) revealed his top-12 schools, with UGA making the cut.

Akylin Dear, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, holds the impressive rankings of No. 4 tailback, No. 3 in Mississippi, and No. 68 overall in the 2025 class according to 247Sports Composite.

Dear’s decision will involve selecting from a list that includes Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, Florida State, and Ohio State.
