### Apply Now for TCATA’s Annual College Scholarship Program

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — The [Organization] is now open for submissions for its annual college scholarship program.

The deadline for applications and accompanying documents is April 30, and the recipients of the awards will be announced in May.

Students who are aiming to pursue a degree at any accredited college or university in the United States on a full-time basis are encouraged to submit their applications. To be eligible, applicants must be either a full-time employee, a child, or a grandchild of a member company in good standing with TCATA. Additionally, the sponsoring member company must have employed the individual for a minimum of one year.

The scholarship amount of $2,000 will be granted to a candidate who is either planning to enter college as a freshman, has already been accepted as a freshman, or is an underclassman continuing their education at an accredited U.S. college or university on a full-time basis. It is essential that all recipients engage in their studies during the fall semester immediately following the scholarship award. Please note that this scholarship program does not extend to graduate studies.

Applicants are required to fill out an application form and submit the following documents:

  • A copy of their SAT or ACT scores
  • Transcripts of all high school grades, as well as any college grades if applicable
  • A letter from their high school principal or the equivalent official, detailing their leadership qualities, extracurricular activities, and other pertinent information
  • A personal letter addressed to TCATA, outlining their achievements, immediate objectives, and future academic and career goals

The selection of scholarship recipients will be based on academic performance, leadership attributes, and chosen fields of study.

Scholarships will cover a four-year period of study, with payments for each year disbursed before the fall semester, provided that the student maintains a satisfactory academic average for continued enrollment and remains in good standing at their institution.

While TCATA encourages scholarship recipients to pursue courses of study that will equip them to actively participate in and make significant contributions to the textile care industry, this is not a mandatory requirement.
