A notable trend is the substantial rise in the number of Indian women pursuing higher education abroad, especially in STEM fields. UniCreds has noted a significant increase in female applicants for studying abroad, with women now constituting 45% of applicants, compared to 25% before the pandemic. Moreover, there has been a 16% growth in student applicants from Tier 23 cities compared to the previous year, including locations like Indore, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Kanpur.
