Carthage full-time staff members can apply to participate in a January 2025 J-Term study tour opportunity.
Since 1973, the College has offered students and faculty the opportunity to explore the world in the month of January for lessons that cannot be fully realized on campus. The study tour program has been a special month-long period of study in which individuals have the opportunity to travel, experiment, explore new subjects, discover new interests, and test creativity and adaptability around the world.
This opportunity is also available to staff. Each year, two staff members are selected through an application process to participate in their choice of one of the three study tours listed below. The cost of the study tour will be covered by the College.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 1. Staff members selected for this opportunity will be announced at the spring gathering in May.
