### Hartsfield Elementary School Achieves IB World School Status

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Hartfield Elementary School has achieved official recognition as an IB world school. This designation enables the magnet school to provide International Baccalaureate programs to its students. After a four-year endeavor, the Leon County school has met the rigorous standards necessary to join the global network of IB schools.

In addition to this milestone, Hartsfield is now implementing IB’s primary years program, catering to children aged 3 to 12. The primary objective is to instill a passion for learning from an early stage. Remarkably, this places the school among the fewer than 3,000 educational institutions worldwide that offer this program.
