THE ROLE
The International School of Ticino is on the lookout for a science teacher specializing in DP chemistry to join us in September 2024, with the potential for assuming the role of Head of Science.
An ideal candidate would relish the chance to contribute to the growth of an IB school and possess experience in teaching various age groups and proficiency levels within the secondary school bracket (11-18 years).
The position offers a permanent contract, and our location provides the option to reside by Lake Lugano in Switzerland or Lake Como in Italy.
Key Qualifications for IST Applicants:
- Possession of a university degree in a relevant field and a suitable teaching certification
- Recent, verifiable experience in teaching secondary students aged 11-18
- Enthusiasm, passion, and effective communication skills in teaching
- EU passport holder or valid work visa for Switzerland
- Previous exposure to IB programs is mandatory; additional IB training and relocation support will be provided.
