France has set a target to host 30,000 Indian students by 2030, with the aim of strengthening bilateral ties with India economically and culturally. To facilitate this objective, French universities and colleges will be establishing ‘international classes’ and introducing English-medium courses to assist international students in adapting to the French education system. Last year, France also announced a five-year validity short-stay visa for Indian students pursuing Master’s studies in the country.
