**Top-Ranked Santa Rosa County Schools: Leading PLCP in Florida**

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. () — The Santa Rosa County School District proudly announced its distinction as the leading Professional Learning and Certification Program (PLCP) in Florida.

Earning a commendable 3.5 rating on a 4-point scale, Santa Rosa County Schools shared the top spot for PLCP programs statewide, alongside Duval and Indian River counties.

Noteworthy progress was evident as Santa Rosa County improved from last year’s 3.0 rating to the current 3.5 score.

Within the evaluation, the school district achieved a 3 for teacher retention, 3 for student achievement, 4 for student achievement by subgroup, 4 for teacher evaluation score, and an impressive 110 for total completers.

Human Resources Director B.J. Price emphasized, “This accomplishment would not have been attainable without the unwavering commitment of our alternative certification teachers and teacher mentor coaches.”

Central to the district’s success are the pivotal roles played by teacher mentor coaches in nurturing the professional development of educators.

Price further acknowledged, “While the outcomes of our efforts may not be immediate, each mentor teacher deserves recognition for their invaluable contributions.”
