### Ensuring Quality Education for All Children in Montenegro

Andjela Jaksic Stojanovic, the Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation, highlighted that the strategy would encompass all educational levels and establish a financial framework for its sustainable and long-term execution.

Stressing the importance of equipping children with the necessary knowledge and skills for continuous learning and successful educational attainment, Jaksic Stojanovic expressed the intention to empower preschool educators, as well as primary and secondary school teachers. Their role would involve providing assistance to children from marginalized backgrounds and their families. This support aims to cultivate an enriching educational environment, combat premature school disengagement, and unlock the full potential of every child.

On the other hand, Oana Cristina Popa, the European Union Ambassador to Montenegro, announced a generous donation of one million euros from the European Union. This contribution is earmarked to aid Montenegro in crafting a comprehensive educational strategy and implementing a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and equity of education. The ultimate goal is to bolster Montenegro’s advancement towards EU membership.

Expressing optimism about the collaborative initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Education and supported by UNICEF, Popa anticipated that it would signify the commencement of a significant and imperative overhaul of Montenegro’s educational landscape.

Furthermore, student representatives, Jasmina Berisha and Balsa Kicovic, shared their expectations regarding the education reform.
