The final ASWA high school softball rankings feature only one change to No. 1 teams.
Class 7A Hewitt-Trussville — the Huskies have won three of the past four big-school softball titles — took over the top spot while the remainder of the No. 1 teams stayed the same.
Class 6A Helena, Class 5A Springville, Class 4A Orange Beach, Class 3A St. James, Class 2A Wicksburg, Class 1A Skyline and AISA Edgewood held on to the No. 1 spot heading into the playoffs.
Class 4A top-ranked Orange Beach (27-0) is the only undefeated No. 1 team and ranked No. 4 nationally in the . Class 7A top-ranked Hewitt-Trussville (22-4) is No. 14, up from No. 16 last week.
