Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) secured the 220th spot among the 250 most desirable school districts in the United States, as per a recent survey released. The evaluation was conducted by Test Prep Insight, a company specializing in test preparation, which surveyed 3,000 parents nationwide. Participants in the survey were questioned about their preferred school district for their children.
The United States Department of Education reports a total of over 90,000 public schools across the country.
Among the Maryland school districts mentioned in the ranking are Anne Arundel County Public Schools at the 40th position, Frederick County Public Schools at 170th, Howard County Public Schools at 171st, and Carroll County Public Schools at 194th.
In the 2023 Best High Schools List by U.S. News & World Report, all 25 high schools within MCPS received rankings.
