On March 13th, 2024, Elon Graduate Admissions is extending an invitation to all Elon students and employees interested in pursuing graduate education opportunities at Elon. The event will take place at Turner Theatre, where an informational dinner reception will be held. This gathering aims to provide insight into the diverse graduate programs offered by Elon.

Elon students and current employees are encouraged to participate in this event, scheduled for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at Snow Atrium and Turner Theatre. The session will highlight the distinctive pathways available for pursuing graduate education at Elon, emphasizing the significance of being part of the Elon community. A catered dinner will be served during the event, with vegetarian options also available for attendees.

Elon’s Graduate Programs Organized by School

Elon’s graduate programs foster vibrant intellectual communities that prioritize close interaction with faculty, engaging with peers academically, and thriving in a research-driven university environment. These programs, accredited nationally, are renowned for their academic rigor and affordability.

Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education

  • The Master of Arts in Higher Education, offered through the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education, leverages Elon’s reputation as a national leader in active and engaged learning. This immersive program, spanning two years and consisting of 36 credit hours, provides students with a student-centered learning environment focused on experiential learning with a global outlook. The curriculum includes study away opportunities, two internships, a paid apprenticeship, and a capstone project.

For Elon employees exclusively, the Elon MHE program is specifically tailored.

  • Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed): Elon’s 30-credit-hour Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed.) is a part-time online program designed for K-12 educators. Non-K-12 educators may be considered based on their ability to fulfill program requirements. The program features online courses offered in the summer, spring, and fall semesters, blending synchronous and asynchronous classes. The M.Ed. program aims to challenge traditional educational paradigms and inspire teachers towards more progressive teaching approaches.

Martha and Spencer Love School of Business
