### Enroll in the Global Scholars Initiative

However, there are two conditions to consider – your chosen field of study and your age at the time of departure. As part of the interview process, students are required to indicate their preferred initial study abroad destination. In certain instances, a student’s academic discipline may influence this selection. The available study locations based on majors can be found on the website. Moreover, students under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in study abroad programs at our partner institutions in Athens, Rome, and Madrid. Therefore, if you will not reach 18 years of age by the start of your first fall semester, you are ineligible to visit these locations. The anticipated departure dates for 24F are August 24 for Madrid, August 25 for Rome, and September 4 for Athens. Nevertheless, individuals under 18 can still register at UD as a World Scholar and journey to Auckland, NZ for their initial semester abroad commencing in early July.
