### Top MBA Rankings 2024: IIM Ahmedabad Leads with FMS Delhi in Second Place

The 2024 rankings for MBA programs were recently released by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework. In this latest ranking, Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) made a significant advancement, moving up to the second position from fifth place in 2023. The top spot in the MBA rankings for 2024 was secured by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). Following closely behind were IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode, claiming the third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively.

In addition, IIM Lucknow, IIFT Delhi, IIM Mumbai, IIM Indore, and IIT Bombay’s Shailesh J Mehta School of Management secured the sixth to tenth positions, respectively.

For the top private business schools in India, XLRI Xavier Institute of Management (Jamshedpur), MDI-Management Development Institute (Gurugram), S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (Mumbai), and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune) clinched the top four ranks.

Under the category of top business schools offering university programs, SIBM-Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune), SCMHRD-Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development (Pune), and XIMB-Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar) secured the top three positions.

The rankings also highlighted the importance of employability in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). XLRI Xavier Institute of Management (Jamshedpur), MDI-Management Development Institute (Gurugram), and S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (Mumbai) were recognized as the top three institutions for employability.

The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework assessed over 300 management institutions and provided rankings for 50 government and 160 private management institutions. These rankings are intended to guide individuals interested in pursuing a career in management and stakeholders in the academic sector.

The evaluation criteria for the IIRF Management Ranking 2024 encompass seven key parameters, offering a holistic view of institutions’ research contributions and employability impact. The ranking process is overseen by Maction Consulting under the guidance of the Federation for World Academics (FWA).
