### Enhancing Academic Performance: Samagra Shiksha Empowers Students to Attain Global Educational Standards

VIJAYAWADA: B Srinivasa Rao, the State project director of Samagra Shiksha, expressed his gratitude for the rare opportunity to participate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Global Conference, Daegu 2024, held in Daegu, South Korea. The conference focused on crucial aspects aimed at delivering inclusive and comprehensive education, aligning with the goals of Andhra Pradesh State Department of Education’s Samagra Shiksha.

Accompanied by B Pratap Reddy, the director of SCERT, Srinivasa Rao engaged in the pre-conference activities organized by the Association of IB World Schools of India and South Asia, a precursor to the IB Global Conference 2024 commencing on March 21.

During his address, Srinivasa Rao delineated the educational strategies implemented by the Andhra Pradesh government and underscored the significance of fostering partnerships between public schools and IB programs. Emphasizing the IB’s acknowledgment of global standards as a conduit to excellence and its dedication to delivering quality education universally, he highlighted how IB World Schools can cultivate well-rounded development, critical thinking, and a global perspective among students in the State. He further stressed, “Through the adoption of the IB framework, our objective is to empower learners with the essential skills for success in a global context.”

On this occasion, Srinivasa Rao and Pratap Reddy met with Amit, the Ambassador of South Asia in South Korea, and Ollie Pekka Heinonen, the Director-General of IB, to exchange insights and perspectives.
