(WFSB) – Connecticut’s best high schools have been ranked by the U.S. News & World Report.
The publication said that it ranked the schools in terms of college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rate.
According to the report, the top 10 schools in the state were:
- Connecticut IB Academy in East Hartford.
- Darien High School
- Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern in Groton
- Weston High School
- Greenwich High School
- Hall High School in West Hartford
- Simsbury High School
- Farmington High School
- Staples High School in Westport
- Conard High School in West Hartford
The publication said it reviewed nearly 25,000 U.S. public high schools and that 198 Connecticut schools made its rankings.
