– Top Schools for Nation’s 3rd Ranked Linebacker Includes Georgia

2025 saw Georgia being listed among his top-12 schools last Thursday, as reported by On3’s Fawcett.

Tavion Wallace, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia, holds the impressive rankings of No. 3 in the nation for linebackers, No. 26 overall in recruiting, and No. 8 in the state according to 247Sports.

As a junior, the four-star recruit had a notable performance at Wayne County High School, amassing 75 tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss.

In addition to Georgia, Wallace is contemplating offers from Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina, Missouri, Florida, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisville, and Michigan.

Scheduled visits for Wallace include Arkansas on May 31, Georgia on June 7, Florida State on June 14, and South Carolina on June 21.

Georgia’s strong presence in the recruitment of top linebackers comes as no surprise. The Bulldogs have established a reputation for recruiting and nurturing players in this position, evident in the significant number of linebackers selected in the early rounds of the NFL draft over the past three years.
