### Assistance Program in Louisville Offers Free Support for Navigating New College FAFSA Applications

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A program in Louisville is assisting residents in navigating the updated college financial aid application process.

The KentuckianaWorks College Access Center is providing guidance on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to individuals seeking assistance.

While the deadline for submitting the application is June 30, 2024, aspiring students in Kentucky are advised to complete their applications promptly to enhance their chances of qualifying for the highest possible financial aid.

Kim Harrison, the Executive Director of the College Access Center, stated in a press release, “Modifications to the FAFSA often result in new inquiries and uncertainties, particularly in the initial stages. We lead our clients through each phase, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources for success.”

Apart from assisting with the FAFSA, the College Access Center aids clients in finalizing their enrollment applications, exploring scholarship opportunities, choosing suitable schools and programs, and gaining insights into the current job market.
