### Four Pioneer Valley High School Students Selected for Summer Study Abroad Opportunity

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Four students from Pioneer Valley High School were awarded scholarships by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) to participate in a summer study program in France.

Ivan, Lily, Catherine, and Tracy successfully secured the prestigious CIEE Global Navigator Scholarships, enabling them to engage in a comprehensive four-week language immersion experience in either Paris or Rennes later this year.

Under the guidance of a native French teacher, the students will receive 60 hours of intensive language instruction. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to explore local businesses, attend cooking classes, and visit various monuments as part of their enriching journey.

Throughout their stay, the students will be accommodated by host families who will provide essential amenities such as meals, transportation, cultural activities, and medical coverage, ensuring a comfortable and immersive experience.

For further details about the program, please visit the CIEE website. If you wish to support each student’s trip, donations can be made through their respective GoFundMe pages, which are linked with their names at the beginning of this article.
