Five-star offensive tackle is considering seven schools as he prepares for a visit to Austin on April 9. According to Lewisville Monday, his top choices include Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC, with no specific order mentioned.
Expressing his thoughts on the matter, Fasusi shared with Horns247 last month, “I believe they excel in assuring me of my significance to their program and expressing their strong desire to recruit me. The overall appeal of Texas is something I truly appreciate and am enthusiastic about.”
In addition to his upcoming visit to the Forty Acres on April 9, Fasusi has scheduled an official visit from June 21-23.
When asked about his expectations for the visits, Fasusi mentioned, “I am particularly interested in gaining insight into the dynamics of the offensive line and understanding Coach Flood’s coaching philosophy. While I have explored various aspects already, I am keen on solidifying my understanding of his coaching style and approach.”
Beyond his interactions with Flood and Steve Sarkisian, Fasusi has established connections with Texas O-line analyst Derron Gatewood and running backs coach Tashard Choice.
Reflecting on his impressions of Texas, Fasusi emphasized, “The culture at Texas is truly remarkable. Their dedication to hard work is evident, and despite facing criticism, they consistently emerge victorious. This resilience is what truly resonates with me.”
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 285 pounds, Fasusi aims to reach a decision by August.
