### Top-Ranked DeSoto High Schools in Mississippi

It’s widely recognized that the DeSoto County Schools rank among the top educational institutions in Mississippi, a fact reaffirmed by a recent report.

According to a study conducted by the website Stacker, which specializes in compiling lists and providing information across various categories such as news, sports, entertainment, science, lifestyles, education, and travel, three high schools from DeSoto County have secured a position in the list of the best high schools in the state. Stacker’s analysis was based on the 2023 rankings.

Niche, the platform that conducted the rankings, utilizes seven weighted criteria to assess schools. While academic performance carries the most significant weight, Niche also considers factors like cultural diversity, sports, extracurricular activities, resources, and feedback from parents, teachers, and students.

Leading the DeSoto County cohort is Lewisburg High School, claiming the third spot in the rankings with an impressive Niche grade of A.

Following closely is Olive Branch High School, positioned at number 17 with a commendable Niche grade of A-.

Additionally, Center Hill High School secures the 25th spot with an equally notable Niche grade of A-.

Meanwhile, the top spot in Mississippi’s high school rankings was clinched by the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science located in Columbus, as per the Stacker report.
