### Concerns Arise as CUET UG 2024 Application Process Faces Issues with Several Universities, Delhi University Included

National Testing Agency (NTA) Initiates Application Process for CUET 2024; Candidates Raise Issues Regarding Missing Universities

The commencement of the application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 27 has sparked concerns among candidates. Despite the application deadline set for March 26, applicants have faced challenges in selecting universities for the CUET Undergraduate (UG) exams, with notable institutions such as Delhi University conspicuously absent from the options.

To apply for NTA CUET UG exams, candidates are required to provide personal and educational information and then choose the universities they wish to apply to through the Common University Entrance Test. However, upon navigating the drop-down menu on the official website, many candidates noticed the absence of several universities. Frustrated by this issue, students have resorted to social media platforms to address their grievances, tagging NTA to bring attention to the matter.

One tweet highlighted the issue, stating, “@NTA_Exams, cuet ug 2024. Many central universities, including DU, are missing from your drop-down list.”

Another student expressed their concern, saying, “Sir, please enhance the NTA CUET UG website as several universities and their programs are not visible.”

Furthermore, an aspirant for CUET UG shared a screenshot on Twitter, stating, “Sir, I am unable to find colleges like Delhi University and others. Kindly assist.”

In addition to the absence of various colleges and universities from the list, candidates have also pointed out issues regarding the clarity of the application form. Allegedly, the form includes a section for Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), which candidates are unfamiliar with. Parents have mentioned that while students may be knowledgeable about the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR), no information regarding ABC has been provided. Moreover, the identification details section lacks a drop-down menu, preventing students from selecting their identification number.

The exclusion of renowned institutions like Delhi University from the CUET UG 2024 form is a significant concern, especially considering DU’s status as one of the most prestigious universities in the country. The university’s website emphasizes that all candidates aspiring to enroll in UG courses for the academic year 2024-25 must register for CUET UG 2024.
