### Vacancies Open for North East Scotland College Board Applications

has initiated a drive to recruit new members for its board.

Playing a pivotal role in strategic planning and influencing the provision of education and training, the college boasts a turnover exceeding £50 million. It currently employs approximately 850 staff across its primary campuses located in Aberdeen Altens, Aberdeen City, Fraserburgh, and Peterhead.

NESCol caters to over 20,000 students annually through full-time, part-time, and distance learning programs. With an annual funding of £44 million from the Scottish Government, the college is estimated to have an economic impact of £400 million.

Ensuring gender balance and inclusive representation of the diverse populace in the north-east of Scotland remains a key focus for the board. Encouraging applications from traditionally marginalized groups, NESCol also seeks to leverage the expertise spanning various industries and sectors. While the board predominantly comprises representatives from the energy sector, it welcomes applications from individuals with backgrounds in other vital sectors of the regional economy.
