Quentin Goode from Aliquippa makes a scoring play against Corey Bouchelle from Fort Cherry in a PIAA Class 2A semifinal held on Tuesday.

The upcoming PIAA boys basketball championships will feature 12 teams that have successfully navigated the Road to Hershey and will compete for the state title from Thursday to Saturday.

A total of seven districts will be represented at the Giant Center during the championship games. Below is a breakdown of the districts represented in the title matches.

Leading the pack is the WPIAL (District 7) with four teams, maintaining its dominance for a second consecutive year.

Following closely behind is District 12 with three teams, including Imhotep Charter, Archbishop Carroll, and Devon Prep.

Additionally, five other districts will have one team each vying for victory in Chocolate Town: District 11 (Parkland), District 3 (Central York), District 2 (Holy Cross), and District 5 (Berlin-Brothersvalley).

Among the teams competing, only Imhotep Charter in 5A and Aliquippa in A have retained their top positions from the previous week’s Trib HSSN state rankings. Parkland in 6A, Lincoln Park in 4A, Devon Prep in 3A, and Aliquippa in 2A have risen to the top spot as they head into the state finals.
