### Shaping Mumbai’s Study Abroad Landscape: UniScholars and ObserveNow Leading the Way

In a pioneering effort, UniScholars, a prominent student mobility platform, collaborated with ObserveNow to organize the Higher Education Leaders Roundtable on January 19th in Mumbai. This significant gathering brought together key figures from the education sector to discuss “Enhancing the Study Abroad Ecosystem,” marking a crucial moment in shaping the future of Indian students in global education.

Conducted at The Sofitel, the roundtable featured the participation of Dr. Monica Kennedy, Minister-Counsellor, Commercial and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner from the Australian Government, along with delegates from renowned institutions like the University of Mumbai, St. Xavier’s College, K. J. Somaiya, NMIMS, and more. Leading the conversation was Amit Singh, the Founder of UniScholars, who directed the dialogue towards emerging trends in international education, strategies for improving study abroad initiatives, fostering global competency, the growing interest of Indian talent overseas, and addressing financial hurdles through scholarships and funding programs.

The discourse touched upon the importance of guiding students towards innovative courses in tech & AI, entrepreneurship/management studies, preparing them for the evolving global landscape, and enhancing their job prospects both in India and internationally.
