The Palmer High School’s Class of 2026 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is currently open for applications. This renowned two-year academic program provides students with the chance to acquire an international/national diploma alongside their Matanuska Susitna Borough School District (MSBSD) high school diploma.
Palmer High School boasts the distinction of hosting the oldest IB Program in Alaska, exclusively within the MSBSD. Students enrolled in the IB program undertake classes during their junior and senior years, fostering academic growth, potential college credit acquisition, and skill acceleration. IB Diploma Candidates are guided through a demanding academic curriculum spanning six subjects, complemented by diverse extracurricular activities. This holistic approach enables students to partake in a well-rounded high school experience.
