Minister Rabain expressed gratitude for the informative and productive nature of the consultative process, acknowledging that while the vision for education is clear, there is recognition of the need for input from various stakeholders to enhance the education system effectively.
Key contributions from community groups such as the West End Warriors, East End school advocates, St. David’s Primary PTA, and St. George’s Preparatory were highlighted as invaluable. Their feedback underscored the importance of honoring the history and legacy of schools in the decision-making process. As a result, a history and legacy component will now be integrated fully into the evaluation process.
Furthermore, Minister Rabain clarified a statement made in a recent interview, confirming that the previous 19 factors will be retained for re-evaluation; however, some of these factors will undergo further scrutiny and potential adjustments in scoring based on the feedback received.
