No. 1 Archbishop Spalding

Leading the way in the 2024 spring season is Spalding, holding the top spot among private schools in Maryland after securing consecutive conference championship titles. The Cavaliers boast exceptional pitching depth, spearheaded by senior Jake Yeager, one of the top prep arms in the state. Coach Palumbo’s arsenal includes juniors Peyton Mamula, Brayden Robinson, and Nathan Wines, forming a formidable pitching lineup. The offensive potential of the team is underscored by seniors Brennan Inscoe, Carson Merritt, and Carver Salazar, supported by a talented junior lineup comprising Drew Emrich, Theo Loughlin, Jack McNally, Jacob Ruiz, and Dillon Stoltzfus. The roster’s depth and talent bode well for a successful season ahead.

No. 2 Georgetown Prep

John Carroll gains the edge with a strong pitching lineup led by senior Aaron Snyder, junior Brooks Mueller, and talented sophomores Brycen Altland, Dalton Cole, and Pierce Quinn. The offense, anchored by junior bats Dallas Brooks, Casey Carpenter, and Will Rhine, supported by Andrew Jourdan and Cam Leach, promises an exciting season if the pitching staff can deliver and allow the offense to shine.

In their final year before closure, St. Maria Goretti High School aims to leave a lasting impact on their baseball program under coach Greg Eversole.
