Upon eagerly checking my email post FSU application, I was taken aback to find out that my acceptance decision had been deferred. The news left me feeling extremely anxious, to say the least. Having idealized FSU as my desired college destination for a significant period, I was unsure about my chances of acceptance. Following several agonizing weeks of anticipation, I was eventually admitted to FSU through the Seminole Pathways Program. Here are five compelling reasons why you should consider studying abroad, shared by someone who embarked on their first semester at FSU Florence.

One of my primary concerns was forming new friendships, a fear that I later realized was more widespread than I had initially thought. Despite not knowing anyone at the beginning of the program, I had already established new connections by the end of the first day.
