### Ty Jackson, Highly-Rated Linebacker Prospect, Includes Florida State in Top School Selections

Florida State supporters have expressed significant concerns regarding the recruitment of linebackers over the years. Although I prefer not to assign blame, the linebacker position board itself has often been thinner than desired.

In the 2023 recruiting cycle, the Seminoles were on the verge of securing promising talents, including four-star DeMarco Ward and three-star prospects Jayden Parrish and Timir Hickman-Collins, thanks in part to the efforts of GM Darrick Yray and his connections with Nichelson’s family.

Looking ahead to the 2024 cycle, Florida State has already made strides by landing a commitment from four-star Ethan Pritchard, a standout from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. Despite this early success, given the importance of depth at the position, it would be advantageous for the Seminoles to add one or two more prospects to bolster their talent pool.

One standout prospect in the spotlight is four-star linebacker Ty Jackson from Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, Florida. Regarded as the 25th-best linebacker in the 2025 class, Jackson has showcased remarkable consistency, amassing an impressive 378 total tackles over his three-year high school career.

Recently, Jackson revealed his top ten schools list, with Florida State making the cut.

While some Seminole fans may adopt a “wait and see” approach to such announcements, it’s worth noting that Jackson has visited Tallahassee multiple times and is expected to return for spring practice.

The potential addition of Jackson, alongside talents like Ethan Pritchard and Tavion Wallace (who is favorably projected to join Florida State), could significantly bolster the linebacker corps for the Seminoles.

In the realm of NFL prospects, the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine will be a crucial stage for three FSU football players aiming to prove their mettle.
