### Shamari Earls, Highly-Rated Cornerback, Reveals Top 10 College Choices

Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale’s highly-rated four-star cornerback has condensed his list of preferred schools to 10.

In a recent update shared with On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Earls disclosed that Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, Texas A&M, Duke, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Maryland, and Michigan State are the frontrunners in his recruitment process.

Ranked as the No. 127 overall prospect and the 13th best corner in the 2025 cycle, Earls holds the distinction of being the fourth-ranked player in Virginia based on a composite ranking that amalgamates data from all major recruiting media outlets.

Notably, On3’s assessment positions Earls more favorably compared to other recruiting services, placing him at No. 62 overall, the 8th best cornerback, and the 3rd top player in Virginia.

Looking ahead, Earls has a series of spring and official visits scheduled. His itinerary includes visits to ppp1, ppp2, ppp3, and ppp4 in the near future. Additionally, official visits to ppp5, ppp6, and ppp7 are on the horizon.

As the spring progresses, South Carolina emerges as the frontrunner for Earls’ commitment, as indicated by recent reports. The Gamecocks have made a strong impression on him, with recruiting insider Wes Mitchell even favoring South Carolina in his recent assessment.

Moreover, official visits suggest that Virginia and Duke are also strong contenders for Earls’ commitment. Both ACC programs, being close to his hometown, would greatly benefit from securing Earls’ talent.

Earls’ unofficial visit schedule kicks off with a trip to College Station to visit Texas A&M, followed by visits to Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. These visits could play a pivotal role in shaping Earls’ final decision regarding his college destination.
