In the 2025 edition of U.S. News and World Report, the University of Delaware’s graduate programs were recognized among the nation’s finest.
UD President Dennis Assanis expressed satisfaction with the national acknowledgment of the faculty and staff’s dedication to advancing and broadening the exceptional graduate programs to cater to students’ and society’s evolving needs. He emphasized the pride in the significant global contributions made by UD’s graduate students, foreseeing even greater accomplishments fueled by their education at UD.
The physical therapy program at UD, consistently ranked at the top, maintained its position in the top three nationally. Additionally, the speech-language pathology program debuted in the rankings at #32 this year.
Louis Rossi, the dean of UD’s Graduate College and vice provost for graduate and professional education, highlighted the pivotal role of outstanding graduate training in UD’s mission as a premier research institution. He lauded the graduate programs for nurturing critical thinkers, leaders, and innovators who confront the world’s most pressing issues, underscoring the excellence reflected in the rankings.

- Nursing: Master’s: 79 (previously 82)
- Nursing: Doctor of Nursing Practice: 110
- Part-Time MBA: 150
